Supporting Humanity with innovation and Education.
Aquaponics (integrated aquaculture and hydroponics) is one very popular form of IMTA, where zero discharge is entirely possible. Aquaculture can produce a greater amount of product in a given area by virtue of production in a three-dimensional culture environment, resulting in a small physical footprint. Through careful planning and the use of integrated approaches to agriculture, we can mesh existing terrestrial agriculture with aquatic agriculture to minimize pollution and maximize overall production.
More and more fish farm operators use a technique call "Integrated multi-tropic aquaculture(IMTA) where the waste from the fish facility are used as raw materials for the production of other products. These secondary crops act as natural filters, turning potential liabilities into raw material assets. Additionally, solid wastes can be used as high-quality material for terrestrial composting and application to farmers fields.
Terra_preta literally means "black soil" in portuguese. Terra preta is characterized by the presence of low-temperature charcoal residues in high concentrations; of organic matter such as plant residues, animal feces, fish and animal bones, and other material; and of nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, calcium, zinc and manganese. Fertile soils such as terra preta show high levels of microorganic activities and other specific characteristics within particular ecosystems.
Terra preta is less prone to nutrient leaching because of its high concentration of charcoal, microbial life and organic matter. The combination accumulates nutrients, minerals and microorganisms and withstands leaching.
My journey into what has now developed to be The Carpenter's Workeshop Foundation began around Thanksgiving time in 1992. I had out of town guests for the weekend, and over the next 3 days I noticed my vision continually got worse. I got an appointment at the best and largest eye clinic in Grand Junction, Colorado. Seven specialist agreed that I had a degeneration of the Mylon sheath in my right eye and diagnosed me as being with multiple sclerosis. I was unable to see anything for the next 2 1/2 years including the light that looked in the back of my eyeball. A naturopathic doctor friend of mine suggested I try a new product on the market that was pharmaceutical grade phytochemicals and nutrients and I began taking them. 2 1/2 months later I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and went back to my doctor and found that I had 20/30 vision in that eye.
Over the coming decades I learned a lot about the effects phytochemicals have in our bodies. To keep a long conversation short, look around you. Look at society, our schools, OUR disabled kids. That my friend is largely due to the effect of phytochemical deprivation. Too hard to believe, maybe, but, Only a person lacking phytochemicals argues with the facts. A close associate and friend who happens to specialize in diagnosing and assisting handicapped learners in our public school system for decades took what I brought to the table and put it to use and the results were simply astounding and totally proved what I had shared.
Over the years a plan was developed for instituting a way for our communities to have healthy food with vital phytochemicals combined with a quality education at no expense to those participating. Over the years the plan was exposed to world humanitarians who fully embraced and endorse the plan. With this encouragement we boldly proceed forward in implementing a life changing opportunity for those who choose to be all that they can be.
THEE CARPENTER'S WORKSHOP (TCW), a Foundation dedicated to equipping humanity to be self-sustainable in all areas of their lives, which is also the basis of our mission statement. It is centered on the Laws of Nature and Natures God. When we as human beings learn how to come into harmony with those laws there is a special harmony in our lives.
We represent a portal for humanity to access funding and assistance from our worldclass team, whether it be for profit or humanitarian projects, regardless the size or magnitude. Our focus is to provide professional assistance and resources for you to improve your community.
To achieve these goals, we will combine;
then combine that with an educational approach that integrates classroom learning with real life practice. Students will know the purpose for what they are learning and why. Our self-sustaining model shows that this can be accomplished with a zero-carbon footprint.
In closing, I wish to thank you for your careful consideration of what is being offered. Our team of world class professionals are excited to begin this journey with you.
